Customs money seizures
The Customs Department has passed over US$565,160 to the treasury, the proceeds of cash that was seized from travellers through the airport on Christmas Day.

Three passengers passing through the Sangster International Airport, were found to be carrying cash not declared to Customs.

The money, which was confiscated under the Proceeds of Crimes Act, is the 136th such seizure since June 1, 2008, the Customs Department said - totalling US$1.766 million.
