Robert Pitfield, group head of international banking at Scotiabank and chairman of Scotiabank Jamaica, has joined the regional board of Junior Achievement Americas Worldwide.
His role will be to "set the direction for more than 500 CEOs now serving on 32 country boards throughout the Americas," said a release from Junior Achievement Canada.
Under Pitfield, who has worked with Scotiabank for 25 years, regional board members will be made into "Jamaican ambassadors within their own organisations and in the business community at large to mobilise corporate volunteers and financial resources."
