JAMAICAN STRIKER Marlon King has left high-flying Hull City, just days after a clash with manager Phil Brown saw him axed from the Premiership squad.
King, who has been on loan at Hull from Wigan since last August, will join Middlesbrough until the end of the season.
"We have agreement with Wigan and Marlon for six months and we hope to sign him after the weekend," said Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate.
"We are pleased to have him on board and pleased the situation at Hull has given us this opportunity."
