I have an idea. Why not provide the prime minister with a donkey cart for his official vehicle?
Think about it:
It's cheap, since there are lots of jackasses around.
Less of taxpayers' money would go to fuel charges since the donkey could eat all that grass and shrubbery growing on lands that might otherwise house factories and offices. Plus, we might be able to harness the natural gases coming from the donkey to heat Gordon House.
The body of the cart could be built from driftwood, plywood and other such material.
The prime minister would never again have to suffer the indignity of a breakdown, because while donkeys can be stubborn ... well ... they can be prodded into action with a carrot or two.

It is a shame to see that communities in Spanish Town are still being neglected. Take for example, the Duncans Pen main road. Roads into several communities lead off this road, such as Windsor, Duncans Pen, Westchester, Lucky Glades housing schemes and Hill Run. I have never seen this road fixed.
There is also a problem with water. Since the Lucky Glades housing scheme was built in the '70s, no resident has ever taken a shower in one of those houses. Catching water in a bucket is a must.
The farming community of Hill Run, which mainly deals in fresh-water fish and supplies the entire island and overseas, are suffering because of lack of proper roads. Thanks to those faithful taxi men who have not hiked their fares, despite the wear and tear of their motor vehicles.

Barbara Cover only seems to have been aware of the conflict between the Palestinians and Israel, when Israel decided to retaliate. If she had children, I am sure that she and her spouse/partner would not sit by day after day while bricks are being thrown through her windows hurting, and even killing, her children and the perpetrators would not listen when they are asked to cease. What would she do? Sit back and wait for them to take her life too?
No one was coming down on Hamas for firing rockets from among civilians and those same civilians did not cry out for fear of repercussions. I call this self-defence on the part of the Israelis. Get your facts right, Miss Cover and the rest.
