The Cleveland Cavaliers pulled level for the NBA's best record on Saturday with a 102-97 win over the Utah Jazz in which LeBron James finished just one assist short of a triple double.

Cleveland's third straight win moved the Cavs level with the Los Angeles Lakers on a .810 win percentage.

James scored 33 points, pulled down 14 rebounds and had nine assists.

The defeat snapped a seven-game home winning streak for the Jazz.

In Miami, the home team ended their run of 10 straight losses to Florida rival Orlando, winning 103-97.

Dwyane Wade scored 27 points to lead the Heat, while Mario Chalmers added 20.

Miami squandered a 15-point lead entering the fourth quarter, but ultimately held on.

The Heat finished with four turnovers, an all-time franchise low.

In Philadelphia, the 76ers welcomed the return of Elton Brand to the line-up with a 116-110 win over New York Knicks.

Six points

Brand, who missed 16 games after dislocating his right shoulder, had six points in just 13 minutes play off the bench.

Andre Iguodala scored 24 points and Andre Miller added 21 for the Sixers, who won for the eighth time in nine games to finally get square with a 21-21 record.

The Knicks' three-game winning streak ended.

In Portland, Oregon, Portland led by as much as 22 points before cruising to a 100-87 victory over Washington.

Greg Oden had 18 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Trail Blazers and Brandon Roy scored 22 points.

Bucks 106, Kings 104

In Milwaukee, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute hit a free throw with 3.3 seconds left to give Milwaukee a narrow win, 106-104, over Sacramento.

Richard Jefferson scored 20 points to lead the Bucks' scoring.

One night after suffering their most lopsided loss of the season, 117-87 at Atlanta, the Bucks won despite Andrew Bogut missing his sixth consecutive game with back spasms and leading scorer Michael Redd leaving with a knee injury in the third quarter.

Sacramento's Brad Miller had a jump shot on the buzzer to send the game to overtime, but it bounced off the rim.
