Hectic practice game schedule for U-20s
Jamaica's Under-20 team will have an action-packed February as the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) provides opportunities for them to improve their readiness for the CONCACAF Under-20 World Cup Qualifying Final Round in Trinidad and Tobago from March 6-15, 2009.

To sharpen themselves for these challenges, the Jamaicans will be engaged in six international friendlies against their age group opposition from Costa Rica, Mexico and Canada.

The friendlies will begin against Costa Rica who arrive in the island on February 11 for games against the Young Boyz on February 12 and 14 in Kingston.

Tough Mexicans

Three days later, they will host the historically tough Mexicans, who arrive in the island on February 16. Following their game on February 17, the Young Boyz depart for Mexico on February 18 for two games. On February 19 they play Mexico Under-20 before going up against a Mexican club team two days later.

After that dizzying schedule, the Young Boyz return home for further training before journeying to Fort Lauderdale on February 26 for a game against Canada the following day.

The Young Boyz have been drawn in Group A, alongside the United States, the team they oppose on the opening day of the competition; El Salvador and the winners of the play-off between Honduras and St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Meanwhile, a squad of 30 players will return to camp today to continue their strengthening and tactical work.
