Jamaica behind time
The Editor, Sir:

In 1999, the Government of Jamaica signed a memorandum of understanding with an Indian company to establish a joint venture company to revitalise the railway service in Jamaica. It is now 2009 and still nothing has been done or heard of it by the Jamaican people.

Jamaica is always lagging behind time, what are we waiting for?

I am a Jamaican-Canadian and I want to see, when I visit Jamaica with my friends, that we are not behind time. It's time for the Jamaican Government to wake up and get on track with other developing countries. Also, put into production, on some of the cane lands, corn and other other agricultural crops.

The Jamaican Government is way too slow in getting on par with other developing countries.

I am etc.,
