At a quiet reception, held at the couple's home in Jacks Hill, St Andrew, close friends and associates came out to bid their official farewell. For the most part, guests mingled with the hosts and shared parting words. The two, in return, shared kind words, expressed pleasure and well wishes with the people they met and worked with.
In love with jamaica
Heg who has apparently fallen in love with the island said his mission to Jamaica has been one filled with joy and excitement.

And, of course, the Olympics, quite amazing," he expressed while reflecting on his journey.
The couple will head back to Washington. Following this, Heg will be posted in Norway.
Among those out for the occasion were: Beverley and Earl Levy; Dhiru Tanna; Laura Tanna; Gilbert Scott and wife Ann-Marie; Commissioner of Police Rear Admiral Hardley Lewinand wife Tessa; Anton Boerger and wife Maria; Director of Public Prosecutions, Paula Llewellyn; and Mexican Ambassador Leonora Rueda.
