Yvonne Neil (left) accepts a plaque from Rosemarie Steele (a.k.a. DJ Marie), a teacher at Ballards Valley Primary School, for her sterling contribution to the school as a private citizen. "I appreciate it so much. There is not a day I regret serving the school. Just call on me," Neil said.
These nine graduates of Ballards Valley Primary School in St Elizabeth were among 10 who each received a bursary valued at $10,000 from past student and businesswoman, Jacinth Schafer (middle row), at their graduation ceremony on July 2. At right in the back row is principal Delorica Myers.
