A thrilling encounter is expected when front runners Constant Spring meet Rae Town in today's feature game, in the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) Claro Super League, at the Constant Spring Sports Complex. Game time is 3:30p.m.

Rae Town, who gained promotion to this year's Super League after winning the Major League, are yet to concede a goal. They are in spanking form, beating Maverley/Hughenden 4-0 in the first round, followed by a 7-0 demolition of demoted premier league outfit, Meadhaven.

Constant Spring have also won both games to be on six points, albeit by one-goal margins, and their coach, Jerome Waite, will be looking to counter Rae Town's rampant strike force.

"We will be looking to nullify their offense and use quick counter-attacks to breach their defenses," Waite said. "So far both teams have been doing well, getting maximum points. We are expecting an exciting encounter, but we will seek to keep a clean sheet and continue scoring," he added.

Rae Town's coach, Michael Francis, is also anticipating an exciting encounter.

"It is one of those games where you have to prepare both mentally and tactically," Francis said. "The team that makes the least mistakes might come out on top. I am expecting a good game from both teams and at the end of the day may the best team win."

Rae Town have six points, the same as Cavalier and Constant Spring, but lead the standings courtesy of a superior goal difference.

Tricky encounter

Cavalier will face a tricky encounter when they travel to last season's third-place team, Santos, who currently lie fifth on four points.

The other games will see Meadhaven seeking to lift themselves off the foot of the table when they host fourth-place Mountain View (4 pts). The JDF (3 pts) will be looking to get back to winning ways, following their 1-4 loss at the hands of Cavalier, when they welcome Barbican (4 pts).

Maverley/Hughenden and Duhaney Park, who are yet to register a point, will tackle each other, while Bull Bay will go in search of their first point when they travel to Real Mona.
