Leeward Islands rallied from behind to secure first-innings honours over Barbados on yesterday's second day of their West Indies regional first class match at Kensington Park.
Resuming on 74 without loss, replying to Leewards 236, Barbados were never allowed to settle as Leeward Islands took wickets at regular intervals.
Barbados lost both their openers, Dale Richards, 60, and Jason Haynes, 28, with the score on 103, but things got worse when captain Ryan Hinds was trapped leg before to Omari Banks at 113 for three. The Leewards then took control despite Edwards' fighting knock of 60.
