You couldn't go thirsty last Wednesday, when Lascelles Wine and Spirits, showcased its fine beverages at the Terra Nova Hotel.

With Christmas just around the corner and the partying soon to be non-stop, it seemed Lascelles wanted to gives patrons a taste of old favourites and to introduce new ones. It was only natural that the drinkers, those who appreciate a good drink, came out to support the cause, and drinking all night was not a problem.

The Magnum girls were there too, dancing all night and keeping the patrons entertained. As patrons sipped, they were also entertained by some of the latest reggae, R&B and disco music.

Some had no interest in the music as they were more interested in the wine booth, which became their hang-out spot for the night. Meanwhile, the spirit lovers sipped on neat Edwin Charley, Skyy Vodka mixes, Angostura with club soda on the rocks among other concoctions.

Hmm, what to try next? Taynia Nethersole takes time to check out the wines brochure.
