I would like to bring to the wider public's attention the madness and dangerous behaviour of some conductors on public transportation vehicles, operating in the Corporate Area and Spanish Town, and the effect this is having on unsuspecting motorists on our roads daily.
Their latest tactic is to run into the path of a moving vehicle, to stop, stand or sit down in the road, so that the approaching motorist has to halt suddenly, allowing the driver of the bus to cut across or in front to get passengers. The other gimmick is for them to alight from the moving bus and jump on to your car bonnet, resulting in your braking sharply to avoid a collision.
I would like to know what the relevant authorities are going to do about this problem that is facing motorists daily. I hope something will be done soon. We all have rights to use the road. Let us be considerate of other users, so we can get to our destinations safely.
I am, etc.,
