Dex's double dare

Dexter Lee

Date of birth: January 18, 1991

Class: One

School: Herbert Morrison

Events: 100m, 200m, 4x100m

PR: 10.32 (100m), 21.09 (200m)

Main rivals: In the 100m, Lee sees Nickel Ashmeade of St Jago and Oshane Bailey of Calabar as his top challengers. In the 200m, it's Calabar's Ramone McKenzie.

Last year's performance: Lee was third in the Class One boys' 100m and finished fourth in the 200m.

Expectations: Lee said his aim will be to run 10.1 and 20.7 to take the double.

Note: Despite winning the World Youth in 2007 and the World Junior title last year, Lee is still awaiting his first Class One sprint title in two years. And although he is a big-occasion athlete, Lee will have to dig deep for the 100m title on Friday night.
