H View, Tivoli summoned
Digicel Premier League teams, Harbour View and Tivoli Gardens, have been summoned by the Jamaica Football Federation's (JFF) Disciplinary Committee following the ugly scene which unfolded at the end of their clash at the Harbour View Stadium last Wednesday.

The members of the management and playing staff have been summoned to appear before the disciplinary committee of the JFF on Wednesday, April 15. The meeting will take place at 4 p.m.

The Tivoli Gardens' trio of Christopher Jackson, Steve Green and Edsel Scott, along with the Harbour View duo of Rafiek Thomas and Nicholas Beckett, have been summoned on charges of breaching Articles 48 (Violence) and 49 (Brawl) of the JFF Disciplinary Code.

For breach of the Article 67 (Disorderliness at Matches), the management of both clubs, as well as Joselyn Richards of Tivoli Gardens FC are booked to appear. Team manager for Harbour View FC, Robert Lee, was sanctioned for a breach of Law 4 (equipment) of the laws of the game and causing unduly delay of the game (bringing the game into disrepute).

On Thursday, the JFF president, Captain Horace Burrell, strongly condemned the actions of the both teams, which marred what would have been a good evening of family entertainment.

"That kind of behaviour goes against everything that our organisation stands for and, by extension, our parent bodies of FIFA, CONCACAF and the Caribbean Football Union," Captain Burrell's statement said then.
