Hayles: No room for slip-ups
For two games in a row Harbour View have dropped crucial points, both stalemates, and now face an uphill task to keep pace with win-hungry leaders Portmore United, in a battle for the Digicel Premier League title.

Coach of Harbour View, Donovan Hayles, said that it is time his team stops the slide, after watching his outfit play out a 1-1 draw with Tivoli Gardens at the Harbour View Mini Stadium on Wednesday night.

"With eight games remaining we can't afford any more slip-ups, we need to start hitting the three-point mark again.

"It's two games without a win and Portmore are winning their games, we need to start winning games to keep pace," Hayles said.

Tivoli's chances lessened

The draw inched the Stars of the East to 59 points, four points adrift of Premiership leaders Portmore (63 points), who beat Waterhouse 1-0 the same night. Tivoli moved to 50 points and remained fourth, a point behind third-place Boys' Town (51).

Oraine Simpson netted in the 21st minute for Tivoli, while Lovel Palmer equalised for the home team from the penalty spot in the 47th minute.

The draw lessened Tivoli's chances of catching the leaders, with games running out.

"We still have a shot at the title," Tivoli's coach Lenworth Hyde Sr said, full of optimism.
